Ms. Jasmine Russell is a Cleveland County native, graduating from Shelby High School in 2012. She graduated from the University of North Carolina-Greensboro with a B.S. in Human Development and Family Studies concentrating in Child, Youth, and Family Development. She then went on to earn a Master's degree in School Counseling from Salem College as well as a Master's degree in School Administration from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. She has served as both a special education teacher as well as a school counselor. This will be her 8th year in education and her 1st year as an Assistant Principal at Kings Mountain Middle School.
Mrs. Arocho grew up in Reidsville, NC, and moved to this area 7 years ago with her husband Daniel. This will be her 7th year in education. She graduated from the University of North Carolina Greensboro with a B.A. in Dance Education in 2015. She then went on to earn her Master's degree and her Administrative Add-On License from Queens University. For the past 6 years, she has taught at Shelby Middle School as the Dance Teacher. This will be her second year as an assistant principal at Kings Mountain Middle School.
